Online Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement

The fully online coursework for the Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement is designed for teachers who are currently licensed in Colorado and who are seeking career advancement and the necessary expertise to work effectively with children with disabilities and who are from diverse backgrounds.

The program is fully accredited by the Colorado Department of Education.

Six graduate-level courses, and six-credits of practicum experience, complete the 24 credit hour program plan of study. One practicum experience can be completed at an approved worksite.

Program Details

This program is perfect if you are:

  • A licensed Colorado teacher who wants the preparation and knowledge to serve young children with disabilities
  • Already in possession of a Colorado general education license and wish to build on that expertise
  • Aspiring to improve your ability to meet the needs of all learners

Many of our students go on to complete an optional master's degree in Early Education, only requiring four additional classes.
